Mark Frank fits neatly into the NMRA demographic. He's an avid 60+ competitor on the Master's circuit, a successful business owner, proud father, and literal groundbreaker. Mark & Landin Frank In 2014, he began acquiring unique properties to establish the Frank Hotels chain, which continues to grow in both the rugged Northwest and coastal Southeast. A decade later, he's now expanding his own home front in Washington state by adding a free-standing, regulation racquetball court just past the garage. It eliminates two-hours of drive time into town for practice. It's every player's dream. Also this year, Mark's off-court commitment advanced to the next level when he secured title sponsorship of the Frank Hotels IRF World Senior Championship. Latin American MRA Rollout

Good ideas generate good partners ... and it was only a matter of time until the successful NMRA round-robin format became an international franchise. Details are being ironed out, but the LATIN AMERICAN Masters Racquetball Association has been formed and the LAMRA Championships have been played in Guatemala City. The NMRA hosts an International Championship annually, and Board President Cindy Tilbury has been closely involved in running it for well over ten years. Over that decade, she had given a lot of thought to the many 40+ Spanish-speaking players in Central and South America.  "I wanted to create an event, and eventually an organization, that celebrated these players. When Guatemala finished its new 10-court Domo Complejo de Racquetball Club, I knew that would be the perfect spot to hold the first-ever Latin American Masters event." HOF 2020 | Alatorre-Martin & Taddonio

Alatorre-Martin & Taddonio honored in St. Louis Update ! At the 2021 National Championship, both Hall of Famers were recognized at the banquet with these individual presentations: Alatorre-Martin | Taddonio Hard at work despite the pandemic, the NMRA Hall of Fame Committee and Board of Directors selected a pair of tour veterans for formal HOF induction in 2020. Upon thorough review of their records, Curtis Alatorre-Martin and Frank Taddonio were unanimously approved for recognition, in the contributor and athlete categories, respectively. The only thing missing in the process had been a live tournament event at which to formally bestow the honors! Hall of Fame inductions are normally conducted at the July International Championships, but these two outstanding competitors will scheduled to be recognized at the earliest opportunity, once tournament play is safely resumed in 2021.
