BARRY HENDRICKS - A Life Well Lived ... According to a labor-of-love tribute curated by Susan Hendricks and Cheryl Kirk - Barry Michael Hendricks passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at his home in Phoenix, Arizona, on August 13, 2024. Barry was a brilliant, funny, caring man. He loved his wife and family the most, but a close second was his absolute lifelong love of racquetball and barbecue! His days playing racquetball, up to and including August 9, included 50 years of 30+ Championships all over the world. In Passing: Joe Lambert

In 2005, Joe Lambert was 77 and already billed as one of the sport's most decorated players, in the Dallas Morning News SportsDay Collin County feature "Plano Resident still commands the Court". He'd picked up the sport at 52, and at the time, he'd already captured 15 national gold medals, 11 of those in singles. Nearly 15 years later, and just shy of 92, this lauded Master's athlete passed away in his hometown of Plano, Texas on May 22, 2019. He'd been inducted into the NMRA Hall of Fame in 1996 and gone on for another quarter century of living his best life in the sport. After a brief tour of active duty in Army service, Joe's career kept him involved in Army & Air Force Exchange services. A native of New York, he moved to the Dallas metro area in 1969 and retired from a career in industrial engineering in 1988. He met and married his wife Jo Worrell in 2001...

Sad News | Grant Morrill, Jr. Passes, 10/09/16. Much-beloved throughout his life and career Grant Morrill, 79, died at the Hershey Medical Center, after many years as "Spoony the Clown" and a Zembo Shrine Clown named "Boss". Earlier he had served in the U.S. Air Force (1955-59) and in the U.S. Navy (1959-64) and traveled the world. He was an avid golfer with 18 documented holes in one, as well as a local, state, national and world racquetball champion. He was a long-time supporter of NMRA and was inducted into the Capital Area Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2004. [ Penn Live article & obituary ]...

Sad News | Grace McAdam Passes, 02/25/16. It is with sadness, but faithful confidence, that I tell you that Grace has stepped forward today to receive her reward in Heaven. Grace lived a very full and complete life, 92 years. Many children, many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, lots of loving relatives, and very many loving friends. Fortunately, God granted us a gentle unwinding process. It has meant so much to me to share the love of my life with you. Thank you all for your support and contributions over the years.
